Orchestrators
An orchestrator is “traffic director” for your payments. When a customer pays, the orchestrator decides which road (gateway) the money should take. For example:
Multiple Roads: You can connect more than one payment gateway (like Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net). The orchestrator picks the right one based on your rules.
Smart Choices: You can set up rules like:
Use one gateway for Visa, another for MasterCard.
Split traffic so one gateway doesn’t get too full.
Pick gateways by currency (USD, EUR, etc.).
Subscriptions: If someone is on a monthly plan, you decide if every payment keeps using the same gateway or if it goes through the traffic director again each time.
In short: You set the conditional rules for where payments are processed and the orchestrator follows them.
To get started, you can create a new orchestrator or edit a currently created one.
To create a new orchestrator, click on "Payments" in your left hand menu, followed by "Orchestrators".
From here, click on "New Orchestrator".

To edit an existing orchestrator, click on the three dots (...) next to the orchestrator you wish to edit and select "Configure". You can also select "Delete" if you wish to permanently remove this orchestrator.

On the next screen you can setup or edit the following:
Name of your orchestrator.
Your routing algorithm.
A monthly processing limit if desired - this is the maximum dollar amount that you is allowed to be processed per month.
Your subscription routing setting.
Enable or disable failover - if turned on, this automatically retries failed transactions with the next best available gateway.
If you have setup or editing values to your liking, you can click "Create" to save your new orchestrator or "Save Changes" if you're editing an existing orchestrator.
If you're still new to the setup process, let's continue by going over routing algorithms in detail.
