BIN Blacklists

Spark gives you the ability to block specific BINs from transacting. This setting is global and will apply to any transaction attempt.

To begin, click on "Settings" followed by "BIN Blacklists" and then the "Add Blacklist" button.

From here, name your BIN Blacklist and tick the switch to apply globally. Now you have two options.

  1. Import a CSV of a bulk list of BINs if you have a lot to add. You can first click the "Example CSV" button to download an example CSV to fill out with the appropriate information. When you're done, click "Import CSV" and upload your file.

  2. You can manually click on "Add BIN" to add individual ones. We'll see what that looks like below.

You'll see a popup where you can add your BIN Number, the Card Brand, Card Type, Issuing Bank and Issuing Country. When you're done, click "Add BIN". You'll see your BIN added to your slide out menu shown below. When you're done, click on "Create Blacklist".

You're done! Just make sure the Status is set to "Active" and the Global Scope is set to "Global" for the Blacklist to apply. Alternatively, if you wish to disable this BIN Blacklist, click on the three dots (...) next to the blacklist and click "Disable Global".

This menu will also let you edit the blacklist or delete it altogether.
