Affiliate Portal

Track affiliate performance and manage postbacks.

The Affiliate Portal allows affiliate provider teams to track performance and manage postback configurations for connected merchant accounts.

How to View Your Reports

  1. Go to Reports in the top navigation bar
  2. Select an Account from the dropdown
  3. Choose a Date Range
  4. Select a report type:
    • Sales - Performance by affiliate and campaign
    • SubID - Performance by sub-affiliate IDs
    • Orders - Individual order details
  5. Use additional filters (Campaign, Affiliate, Search) to narrow results

How to Set Up Postbacks

Postbacks send HTTP callbacks to your tracking system when events occur.

Create a Postback

  1. Scroll to the Affiliate Postbacks section below the report and open the menu on the affiliate’s card
  2. Select Add Postback to create one (choose View Postbacks instead to see the affiliate’s existing postbacks)
  3. Enter a name for the postback
  4. Select the delivery type: Server to Server, iFrame Pixel or Image Pixel
  5. Enter your postback URL with tokens
  6. Set to Active
  7. Click Create Postback

Postbacks created in the affiliate portal always fire on sale (order complete). The sale vs. lead choice is only available to the merchant.

Available Tokens

Use these in your postback URL:

  • {order_id} - Order ID
  • {amount} - Order total (for lead/partial-pixel postbacks, the cart total)
  • {currency} - Currency code
  • {sub1} through {sub5} - Sub-affiliate IDs

Example:

https://tracking.example.com/postback?order={order_id}&amount={amount}&sub1={sub1}

Assign Postbacks to Campaigns

  1. In the Affiliate Postbacks section, open the menu on the affiliate’s card
  2. Click Configure Campaigns (this opens the Campaign Postback Configuration modal)
  3. For each campaign, select which postbacks should fire
  4. Click Save Configuration

How to Manage Your Team

  1. Open the profile menu (your avatar, top right) and choose Team Members. The item only appears if you have the manage-users permission on the provider team.
  2. To invite someone: click Add User, enter their email, pick a role (Provider Admin or Provider Affiliate), then click Send Invitation
  3. To remove someone: open the menu on their row and choose Remove, then confirm with Remove User. The option only appears for users you have permission to remove (not yourself, not the team owner).

Data Exclusions

These orders are excluded from reports:

  • Throttled orders
  • Test orders

If a merchant account is past due and locked, its entire report is unavailable until the account is brought current. A past due account that is still within its payment grace period reports normally.

Troubleshooting

No Data in Reports

  • Verify an account is selected
  • Check the date range includes orders
  • Confirm the account is not past due and locked (a locked account shows an “Account Payment Past Due” notice in place of the report)

Postbacks Not Firing

  • Check the postback is set to Active
  • Verify it’s configured for the campaign
  • Confirm the postback URL is valid

Commission Questions

  • Commissions are calculated based on campaign affiliate configuration
  • Commission is generated for orders that were approved, including ones later refunded, voided, disputed or charged back (statuses: completed, refunded, partially refunded, externally refunded, disputed alert, disputed RDR, chargeback, voided). Orders in any other status - declined, pending, abandoned, processing, canceled and so on - never generate commission
  • Your per-campaign payout type and rate are shown (read-only) under each campaign in the Campaign Postback Configuration modal. Contact the merchant to change them, or for anything not shown there
